Diagnosis With Brief Discussion

Reviewy
Rare (1% of all pulmonary tumor), benign lung neoplasm
Predominantly middle-aged women
Asymptomatic, coughing, chest pain, bloody sputum


Usually Solitary pulmonary nodule
Commonly located in both lower lobes, Juxta-pleural or juxta-fissural
Oval or Round shape with smooth boundary
Outer GGO, Small and nodular calcification
Marginal pseudocapsule, Overlying vessel, Halo sign, Air gap sign
Enhancement
- Rapid and strong enhancement and washout
- Dependent of the levels of hemangiomatous or papillary and solid or sclerotic components
- Early and strong enhancement or slow and persistent enhancement and little washout


Generally considered benign lesion, Surgical excision
Rare regional node metastasis (2-4%)
- Suggest low malignant potential
- Not affect patient prognosis
